I certain liked Lois Lanes designs, Tomboy Anime look works for the design nicely. couldn't quite place why the design looked so familiar though then while sorting artwork hard files (originals) I came across Susan. I was of course like "nah, no way. So since I woke up at "Ungodly early again" I went to find a decent picture of Lois and use the color palettes
It's a pretty awesome coincidence in my opinion (I really doubt anyone in any mainstream would use my designs for reference material. ^^; even though I get told I am good. I generally just see my artwork as practice and getting better at anime and toon styles.)
:3 Still, this is rather amusing to have designed an almost exact to Lois minus them, well *Ahem* Chest and rear department.
This must of been what some other posters meant by "Susan?" or "Who is this?" on other sites :3
and now that I know...I guess I'll have to draw more of them/her for a bit.

I don't think they have the same writers; but They're both very confident, headstrong characters that easily get in over their heads becuase of it. Both have their obessions that they pursue regardless what anyone else says. Combine that with them both having tomboyish designs, and both similar color schemes becuase it feels like both have some latina in them; and Lois almost comes off as an Adult version of Luz
I can see that, for the right storylines the character type would work. In animated that archetype these days at least seems to work. Doesn't seem to work often in the newer live action films.
Kind of sad, use to love going to the movies with my wife. But so far almost every film has been very disappointing.
