So here's another one most of you won't know. Much as I can enjoy the live action stuff, I tend more towards animation and anime, since I preference Genre pictures, and action/adventure shows. Even what Genre they have(Scifi and Fantasy) tend towards Drama, so I'll watch more cartoons with my Western made stuff. And anime with the rest.
Anyway, this specimen here is Pepper(More than slightly modified into the artist's own style), the replacement Tactical Officer for season 2 of Dogs In Space, as the prior one got a promotion after Captain Garbage has some down time to figure himself out.
So, what is Dogs in Space? It's an episodic space adventure series. Set...well given the news probably middle of next year, the Earth is basically uninhabitable, and humanity due to reasons we aren't fully made aware of, is weary about sending people into space. So they decided to genetically modify a species to sapience, while also altering their anatomy to be bipedal.
After considering of what animals would be most loyal to mankind, they picked dogs, and created a massive ship, the M-Bark(Embark being the pun), which houses several smaller scout vessels named after the planets of the solar system and other celestial bodies, to scout the cosmos for a new home.
The show is mostly episodic, though events do change over time, though no major plot developments(For the most part) outside of the season finales and premiers so far. There's two seasons, and I'm hoping for a 3rd since the very last scene of season 2 before the credits hints at something that sounds like a lot of fun.
Anyway, Pepper is nice. She's a large breed of dog, so when standing on two legs, she towers over the others, and she uses a sword and shield. Stella the former used a buckler and spear, though promotion to captain seems to have given her a gun...which oddly the other crew and she had, so it might just be tactical is given more options.
Regardless, she wears what is effectively low profile power armor, and is also quite smart, able to create holographic sims of the crew to run through scenarios, even if the crew itself is a bit better than she gives them credit for. She caught my eye for those traits, and I got a few things with her.
Here we see her enjoying some nutrient drink, after coming back onto the Pluto, their ship, and having had some lunch at some point. Seems someone might have been IN the drink though, so got to wonder what's going on with that. We, being the viewers, seem to be having a fun time though, so that's all that matters.
