As a father, Chains can be very doting. He reserves most of his smiles for his little girl (Jolene) or the people close to him. He’s resourceful, dependable, and assertive when he needs to be, especially on the job. He has a history being a soldier in the air force, endlessly knowledgable about planes and how to navigate the skies, but unfortunately he crashed, leaving him unfit for duty. Now as an aviation metal worker, Chains spends his time making parts for said airplanes.

As a lover he is kind, but it’s like pulling teeth trying to get him to be honest and communicate openly. He may say “I love you”, but does he mean it…? It’s a mystery. All he wants is for his partner to be satisfied. It’s difficult to truly create an unbreakable bond with him, as he’s internally frightened of burdening anyone with himself. The only one he is devoted to is his daughter at the moment. Panic attacks creep in sometimes, and he finds himself weak for it.
