So what's up internet, who's heard of a Stabyhoon? I hadn't until Chiv and I were searching through dog breeds one day. Pretty awesome aren't they? They're kinda like labs mixed with spaniels... they can be brown, red or black and the whole head and neck is always that one color and then they have spots.
We like them.

They are rare here, but steadily increasing in numbers, like a great many rarities. With the world being connected with the internet, we're going to start seeing a LOT more breeds getting AKC accepted quickly as people are now able to connect and find breeders in a rare breed a lot more easily. XD So times are going to get interesting. Encyclopedia of Dog by Bruce Fogle is a great start to learning a lot more interesting breeds, as well as Atlas of Dog Breeds of the world. Dogbreedinfo.com is pretty expansive as a site, but pages and pages to go through and not as much info on some breeds. X3
