Emily flinched as another flash and thunder appeared outside the window, but Mark pulled her closer to his chest, gently stroking her head soothingly.
"Hush, everything is fine my love, I'm by your side, and everything will be fine."
"Am I silly that I'm still afraid of thunderstorms?" Asked Emily.
"No, my love. It's natural to be afraid, and we're all afraid of something, even I get scared sometimes..."
"Were you scared too?" Asked Emily. "In the past, when you should doing all these scary things?"
"Yes, I was really scared." Answered the man. "But now I am here and don't go anywhere." Answered the man, tighter hugging his wife.

It was a strange feeling and Mark didn't know how to explain it himself. - His previous life was like a fuzzy dream, like a strange nightmare.
He just lived without any goals, until he met those whom he loved and cared for.

Perhaps it would be strange for human communication, but Emily was not human, and they both were no more on Earth.
So now it was time to forget the old and start building their new happy life together.
