For centuries, people and animals went to the domain of the Swamp Glow for a rare healing berry and hundreds got lost and died there. All of them sooner or later rotted in the swamp, and their souls got stuck in its waters, entangled in mud, turned into peat. They say that it is because of this that the land there is so fertile that flowers grow on it that can heal any wound.

The Glow is the swamp. Sedge, mud and duckweed, swamps and bogs, trees and shrubs - all this is part of the Glow. Every soul that disappears on its lands is sure to get entangled in its long hair and pupate there, turning into shimmering ringlets. Glow walks with a shaggy mane and tail, unable to pull out small pupae from there, and newly hatched souls flutter around it.

For so many years, the Glow is tired of scratching on the trees, trying to get rid of the souls filling his body. Even though it did not want to interfere in the lives of mortals, it was painfully tired of them with their imprudence. Now the Glow leads them out of his swamp, pointing in the right direction with the white tip of its long tail, and leads the especially dull ones personally
