This is another basement recording off my mp3 player i didn't know it had a fucking mic on it since a couple days ago. I thought that was for the reset button lol but sic!
sssSo yea sorry for the overpowering drums but such are basement recordings. Man I think we got our singer finally!!! Shit yea.
If you can hear some of what he is doing that shit is all freestyle he heard the song like twice and just went with. I don't even know the lyrics but i thought it sounded killer with him a foot away from me. Got the timing and shit down pretty good. He can sing great too. Yea kind of got me pumped and all into life again.. Wheeee! *goes to play angry heavy music*
Oh and on another note I do have the guitar track of this up here but I forget what i titled it here since it doesn't really have a title.

hmm, I haven't tried the mic yet, but I've heard great things about Shure SM57 vocal/instrument mics

I'd give it a shot for 100 bucks if I had the money.
Another thing you should invest in is a XLR-to-USB cable, so you can record from the mic directly to your computer and add all your effects and shit in whatever programs you use.
Also, I'm not familiar with your style, what genre would you call your band?

re-type cuz i didn't really reply just typed in the box unthoughtfully..
.. "This is through a creative M: Vision or touch.. somthing like that.. beat my expectaions of the mic.
As for what i'd call my music.. I just say metal cause it is heavy and has screaming i don't really like genres to be honest..
BUT if i had to say it's like a mix between classic rock nu-metal(GAWD that term has been sucked and is SO bastardized) and just plain old heavy rock. I really don't know i just play what i like."

Beginning reminded me of "Battery"-- and then became a weird flurry of sounds, although since I like the electric Viola in VU's songs, I can't say this is wholly unpleasent (Maybe I don't mind the screaming here because it soundds almost like an odd synthesizer xP). Yeah, the drums overtake the recording a little too much (I can barely make out a guitar on the track), but that's also not wholly unpleasent because the drummer's pretty damn good... By the way, which singer is that? *faves because I actually liked it and it had screaming and yet wasn't a track from "Plastic Ono Band", which is odd*
