Also, I'm curious.. this is just a thought experiment, though, not an actual suggestion.
Since this is the natural bodyshape of this alien species, are they really "tauric"? Ie: A taur is a mythical concept and a bodyshape that is defined by the idea of there being a bipedal upper body on top of a quadrupedal/bestial lower half, yes? Part of the definition is to say 'this is not the natural state' or 'this is mythical' or rather 'this combination is supernatural, a melding of two things that don't naturally go together'
So, since this is the NORMAL state for an andalite, are they really tauric, or is this just normal for them and seeing things like humans makes them think 'why are their lower halves so stubby and only have two legs and no tail???'
