The place I work recently bought a tube laser and put me in charge of programming/running it. Well, it didn't take me long to decide to make something special for my PC setup...probably should have cleaned it up instead, but whatever. This is by far the nicest looking part of my rig, which barely has any cable management done *sigh*... still the thing makes the PC space look better and since I hooked it directly into the PC power supply via an unused molex, it comes on with the PC... I really should do some proper cleaning up of the cables... the PC deserves better, but I'm a bit on the lazy side... it works, it stays cool...

Price is very negotiable and custom made pieces are not out of the question, but beware, there are hard limitations to what I can do with this laser (artwork is mostly out)... it's a very basic CAD interface that has some pretty silly limitations as to what I can draw... like inside radii, I can't draw inside radii at all in most cases... look at the sharp point on the "M" and "N" of the "MINOTAUR" The system is not designed to make things like this, but geared more to industrial purposes, I just figured out how to cheat it a little. There is a reason all letters are in block style. Each segment of each letter is a different line of code with 6 different elements defined in the line.

For CAD people: If you can draw a tube and save as an .igs I might be able to cut it... ask about tube size availability first.
