My first costume. It was in progress for over a year, but I wasn't working on it the entire time. Overall it took over a solid month-and-a-half's worth of work, and then some to get it completely finished. I am quite pleased with how it turned out and am looking forward to making another costume soon. This costume won 'Best In Show' at an anime convention in 2011, an award that I was very honored to receive.
If enough people are interested, I'll post more pictures and maybe even a bit of how I made it all.

There's a catch in my case: here in Puerto Rico, this whole thing of the mass media fiction fandoms lacks development, so I pretty much didn't have competition. By the time I competed in the Kaisen Entertainment Fair (6th iteration), it seems I'm both the first Lucario suiter, fursuiter and full-suit pokémon cosplayer to have competed. That earned me a first place in the cosplay contest category I participated in (masculine videogame characters).
Even moreso, I also participated again, with the same suit, on the 7th iteration of the convention. On that time I earned a 10th place, with the difference of having overall more and much better competition, having already used that suit, having had an incomplete evaluation on the judge table and having another Lucario cosplayer around (although his suit was purchased and less accurate when compared to mine). He earned an 8th place.

On this image, I'm the suiter with the smaller head.

Even still, an award is an award. You should take pride in having won for you costume, and I congratulate you on having done as such. From the looks of things, you put in a lot of effort into your costume, and it looks nice as well. Definitely something to be proud of yourself for.
