"So, Braixen from Pokkén, tell us about your new Burst Attack. I understand you created this one yourself?"

"Yeah! Okay, so my old Burst Attack just made you explode in some fireworks, and that was fine. It didn't do a lot of damage but it was cute and easy to land. But one day, I watched a Snover evolve, and it got me thinking about the energy it takes to evolve. Where does it go? Just into making a Pokémon change and grow bigger? So I wanted to try playing with that, and I came up with a magic move that snares that energy from a Pokémon who's already evolved and separates it from them. Then after that, I can push the energy back in! But instead of evolving back, they... swell up. And float. It's kinda cute and hilarious. It doesn't do any damage... not unless I really, really don't like you and I have a needle... but it's a start!"

"I see... So that's how it works. But it wouldn't work on, say, Mewtwo, or Croagunk. Or Shadow Mewtwo."

"We'll see. You never know. I even surprise myself sometimes!"

"Evolution normally can't be undone. Does that mean that what you do with this special move can't be undone either?"

"I missed the part where that's my problem!"

Airborne August 4: "Fight"

I've been playing Pokkén a lot again lately. Which is a fight-ing game. Braixen cannot do this in the game. But they're still fun to play as anyway.
