A while ago I moved to Clip Studio Paint and wanted to test all those brushes and get comfortable using the software. I did a couple of paintery/experimental drawings like this. Namely, I started with the three start characters from Genshin Impact! I
For the animal I decided to go with something that works with the region or their background. Kaeya was difficult, if you play the game and know his background story you know why. I decided to go with something that gives off some mysterious vibes but is still a normal animal. Also I originally planned more characters and Diluc would've been a falcon or eagle of sorts, so two birds as "brothers" would have been a good match.
I kinda forgot I was drawing a peacock and accidentally gave him my generic "custom anthro bird species"-face, oops. But I love those beaks. EHE.
