Hey, this is awesome! I'm a huge hockey fan and this not only is a great moment between Donald and Daffy on the ice, it also reminds me of some of the awesome hits my team laid on opponents during our run to the Stanley Cup Finals this year (Go Florida Panthers!)

Oh a fellow Floridian? Nice! I didn't know they had hockey stadiums down here. The game can be really intense. Not sure if anybody flew out off their skates, but they certainly play hard!

I did grow up on the Space Coast, but I've lived on the Eastern Shore of Maryland for the past 8 years. It's a long story.

Florida has TWO hockey stadiums in fact! FLA Live Arena where the Panthers play in Sunrise, and Amalie Arena where the Tampa Bay Lightning play. The Lightning went to three straight Cup Finals before this year and won the first two straight, and this past year the Panthers won the Eastern Conference and made it to just their second Cup Finals in franchise history. Unfortunately the Vegas Golden Knights steamrolled the Panthers in five thanks to the Cats being injured to pieces and running out of gas after an amazing Cinderella run. Our new star Matthew Tkachuk BROKE HIS STERNUM in Game 3 and still played in Game 4! That is insane even for a hockey player

Ouch! It's definitely an aggressive sport. I don't watch it religiously, but I peak from time to time, there was even a time I played with the  FHL here on FA for short time. Actually I am reminded of one time when I went to an actual game, and a puck flew over the protective glass and beamed a woman in the head that was sitting a couple rows behind me. She seemed to take it in stride, though I wonder if she suffered severe brain damage because of it. O.O

OUCH! Usually there's netting above the glass that prevents that sort of thing from happening! I've been lucky enough to go to a real hockey game as well, but that was 12 years ago. That was also the same year I went to my one and only NFL game (a preseason matchup between my Dolphins and the Buccaneers in Tampa that we lost) so it's been a long long time since I've been to a pro sports game of any kind ...

Yeh it's been about the same for me. I occasionally watch glimpses of the Tampa Bay Rays playing baseball while i brew up tea, but I haven't gotten invested in sports in over 10 years, aside from the uniform designs, and my fun with slapstick involved with them https://www.furaffinity.net/view/53246171/

I like that comic! The pitcher is a cute birdie. Funnily enough this summer was the first time I watched a Marlins game in years, usually I'm only a devout watcher of football and hockey.
