This is probably my top capture so far this year... taken on President's Day 2011. Woodland Park Zoo was packed with kids on vacation and Hubert put on a show for everyone, sharpening his claws on the humongous fallen tree in his territory and then nuzzling it like only a big cat can

Aww yeah I do too. Though one day the zookeeper brought by a little piece of his mane that had fallen out, I was really surprised at how coarse and rough it was! I'm sure his fur is soft and downy though

I don't know anyone out that way, but it's not too terribly far from Tech City... I'm sure Ithabise would be willing to give you a lift since he lives very close by in Redmond. If he can't for some reason, I'll do it
