It was late at night and had started out a bad weather with some thunder.
Tommy was very much afraid of thunder and he shivering in his bed.
So he decided to go straight to his father's bedroom and asked with a very small voice:
"Dad,are you asleep?"
His father replied: "What's the matter, son? ?"
"Can I sleep with you?I hear thunder and I'm scared!"Tommy said with eyes full of fear!
His father smiled tenderly and said:"Don't worry my son,come,you can sleep with me!When I was a little cub, I was afraid of thunder too.And I ran to my parents' bedroom and slept with them. "
"Really,dad?Tommy said.
"Yes my son.But I'll always be by your side!" Father Bear said.
"Sweet dreams my little bear!" his father said.
But Tommy did not answer because he was asleep.
Now Tommy was not afraid of anything because he was sure his dad always was going to be with him!

I was a little Asustad (I love this word!) Of thunderstorms.
When I lived in New Mexico,Hobbs is in a area where rain wasn't a big concern.
Moving to Dallas! Oooooooooooooh boy,Dallas! It rains too much here and the storms are serious here! But I was old enough to know what caused thunder and lightning caused it!
Also,knowing lightning would "light" you up!
That's why it's called lightning!

Yeah! All those years of speech class for nothing! It's hard to speak words when you a muzzle and long tongue!
