Working his way up through the ranks, Liam Kennedy was able to reach Liutenitant by his own merit and meet his best mate while doing so, however one night, while on patrol, a loud explosion was heard and smoke rose through the air.

Rushing to the scene, both Liam and his best mate made it there first, radioing it it, they were strictly told to wait for the fire-brigade. However, unable to listen to the screams from inside morally, Liam ran in despite the warnings of his mate

Pulling people out of the blazing building as it crumbled around him, Liam's mate ran in after him, helping him evacuate the citizens before the floor gave out beneath them causing his friend to fall in, but was caught by Liam who wouldn't let go of him even as the steam and fire began to blister and blaze off the fur and skin from his arm.

Even as his friend yelled at him to let go and save himself, it wasn't until the roof began collapsing he was forced to let go when a wooden beam crushed his leg.

After breaking that order, he was expected to be court marshalled, but he was praised to much by the public for his heroic deeds and called a hero, given the title of Captain and now in charge of his own task force of Charlie-12, formed to prevent tragic events or ease the pain of them.
