Yeah, I wonder how everyone in Ponyville is happy with his or her life... no major conflicts... nobody talking about how is it that Princess Celestia has been ruling for 1000 years now and that there's no king or queen. Fluttershy subdues everyone with her eyes!

I didn't give too much thought to it when I was watching that episode. But now we know it might have just been one of Fluttershy's illusions

Okay people, let's start putting things into perspective. Fluttershy can force her will onto others and make them obey her, Rainbow Dash can break the sound barrier, Pinkie Pie can predict events and possibly break the fourth wall, and Twilight Sparkle has powerful enough magic to levitate an Ursa Minor and teleport herself around.

These aren't ponies, people. These are walking WMDs.

We have yet to discover what kind of freaky superpowers Apple Jack and Rarity have.
And I'm afraid to even think what kind of mindblowing stuff Celestia can do. I mean she lifts the SUN every freakin' day without breaking a sweat

Yeah. For all we know she can shoot solar flares from her eyes, or emit enough solar radiation to cook every bag of microwave popcorn within a 50 mile radius!

And of course, we can't forget about Spike's little letter sending ability thing. With an ability like that, Spike can inform Celestia of trouble brewing at a moment's notice! Any rebellion would be as good as gone as soon as Spike learned of it!
