Hi guys!
I am currently holding an auction for three plush dachshunds, like the cute fellow seen above to help my mother pay for her "dog-baby" Phoenix's vet bills. We recently found out that she has a large tumor and we need to take serious measures to help her recover.
I want to help as much as I can so every dollar made from these sales will go to my mom and her beloved pup! You win too because you get a cute plush!

Yeah, my dachshund Daryle had slipped a disc in his back, paralyzing his whole back end. He only had a 50/50 chance of surgery being able to restore his movement, and the surgery was incredibly expensive on top of that, so we opted to put him down. It was so sad though, he was my first dog that was -my- dog. :\
But yes, Phoenix is very young, and he definitely deserves a chance to live a long and healthy life! I hope you guys get enough donations and that the surgery goes well. :)

I pray that things work out well for your mother and her baby. I lost an older dachshund to cancer, so it's certainly scary and tough.
Would you ever be willing to take on a separate commission related to this and the cause? I'm afraid I'm not confident that I'd be able to afford bidding on this, but I'd absolutely adore one of these little guys.

I think it's really rad you're doin this, Sapph. <3 I'm sorry to hear that Phoenix isn't feelin her best, but as a person in the veterinary field myself, I have confidence that those who are working hard to find a prognosis + treatment for her will do their best!
