I had one more sketch of this gal on my HD, thought I'd post it.
Be back later to answer comments and stuff! I'm trying to get my last two commissions out of the way! =O

This Sett gal seems to be doubling up on her accessories. :3
Also, I noticed the subtle fang sticking out. Now this look gives her mischievous attitude. It sorta displays she's just really into modeling or if she was planning something kinky in this scene.
One of the prototypes had her with the "unusual" five toed designs like this one. Are you planning to keep her five toed or are you going four toed like all the other gals?
I think the five toed design makes her stand out a bit more unless it's just part of a new style you're developing where the upper and lower digit counts will match up.
Either way, more Sett is always a good thing. :3

Well, five toes would allow more expression but the uneven nature would take longer to draw and be more prone to "error".
Four toes would be safer but would not be as flexible as even lengths don't allow for as varied as expression like you did here unless you put forth extra effort.
That's at least what I can take from it. Then again, I'm not an artist. I tried, but I realized I sucked and died in the visual creative arts.
But in the end, it's what makes you happy. I mean, most of your characters are different species, so why not have cobras with five toes?

Hey, actually, serious/art style question. What do you do to get the paper backgrounds for these images? Do you have a technique for making them yourself, do you scan in an old grocery bag, or what? I've tried creating such a background texture with varying degrees of success, but it doesn't quite get there, you know?
well for this one its a paper texture that I downloaded, and messed around with via various photo shop options. Sometimes I use brushes though. That's the thing, the more I delve into art the more I realize there's no real "system" . Just guidelines that people instinctively build off of through trial and error =/
Yeah, I kinda figured. It's true of many people and techniques, which makes them hard to pass around, supposing one has the inclination to do so. Thanks though! I'll just have to work at it a bit more. I like what I've managed so far, but I'm going to have to go through a few more iterations before I get something I really like.
