Alice has experienced abuse from people, but hasn't lost her inner warmth, and when the volunteers showed her care, she began to smile her warming smile. If you take Alice, you'll always have a ray of sunshine in your home.

I am young, kind and gentle.

Bad people hurt me. They threw me off the bridge.
My little puppy ran away.
I was taken to the clinic. I couldn't eat.
I was very sad.

Now I'm fine, though I limp a little.
I'm a bit shy. When I hear loud sounds, I lie down.

But I'm want to be with people.
I like it when people are friendly with me.

I smile at them and my smile is big and friendly.

I love it when people stroke my tummy.
And I love it when people come to visit me and bring me tasty things.
