One of the characters in one of the two stories I am working on.

Count Maximilian Valentin, or simply Maximilian, is an Imperial Count and son of the Stellarch of his home Star System. The latest of his family’s line, he seeks to expand his family’s reach with a new colony, of which Counts are allowed to rule.

He plans to establish this new colony with a team of mercenaries, along with his close friend and personal bodyguard, who will come later. What can be said is Maximilian is a good friend, even if he has trouble understanding certain things due to his largely closed off upbringing.

His personal weapon is what is known as a Persona Sword, a specialized weapon often used by the empires nobility. Formed from nanites, it can disassemble and reassemble at a mere thought, due to most nobles of the empire having psychic abilities, including the control of nanites.
