This reminds me of my first super munchkin character. A 2nd Ed thri'kreen fighter, able to throw 20 darts a around, each dart doing at least 7 damage. It was pretty bad, and my brother hated me for destroying his game by killing a T-Rex that was supposed to chase us rather than be killed in 2 rounds ^^;
Of course, this was revenge for when he destroyed -my- game by making a minotaur gladioator, and his friend as a wemic samurai... >>

the nitpicky part of my brain's first thought was "bull, those weapons would be far too rare for some bug to have" at which point my DM brainmeats went "well, clearly that's not metal but rather the ridges from the plating of a very rare tortoise-like monster that lives..." and now i have to go start up a dark sun campaign.
