This is a bust of D. Dan's professor and main teacher during much of his later years of training, Jacques el Noble. A personal favorite of the Dan family for many generations, Jacques el Noble (by whom has changed names over the centures) is an immortal who ages unimaginably slow. His battles would kill most immortals of his type if it were not for his godlike ability to heal instantly. ^\/^.

Jacques el Noble (his name since 1259 AD) has trained many generations of males and occasional females of the Dan family since 873 BC. On personal request of Lord Defensor Dan, Jacques el Noble moved to the Royal Academy in the capital that the current family is living at to train D. Dan (first name being Dominus) and other sons and daughters loyal and friends to the Dan family. ^\/^.

Jacques el Noble's age is not easy to guess at, especially since records of his birth are either lost or turned to dust over the centuries. Even Jacques stopped counting his age since 963 AD when he decided to not bother any longer to figure out and keep track off. In any case, he is the great grandson of Lord Anubis. His father is still alive, though he lives in the afterlife protecting the path of death from those who would invade the after life (bad guys for different reasons, LOL). His mother has passed, but her soul lives in the afterlife with his father and can not leave since she is dead. Technically a halfling, his father is a pure jackal god of war and revenge from the Egyptian Pantheon and his mother a wolf goddess of love and nature from the northern Celtic Pantheon. His mother was not an immortal goddess and died in a battle long ago while healing the wounded. ^\/^.

Jacques el Noble's powers, besides innumerable lifetimes of experience in nearly all forms of combat and tactics, is the ability to instantly self heal. He also has super strength, a high IQ of 241 and the ability to perform varied magics typical of his family line. One includes the ability to take wrappings hidden underneath his gloves and near instantly mummify an opponent alive, the ability to take souls at will by passing through opponents by passing through time and space, and the ability to start and control fires at will with the ability to selectively cause damage and degrees of damage (like setting a pyre around an enemy in a field of dry grass, but only burning the enemy leaving the grass undamaged or making a fire around a paper cup of tea but making enough heat to warm the tea). Despite his many abilities, his main weakness is following a set of divine rules that define specific times when to use his abilities. This divine red tape allows room to teach, but little room to do actual battle, even in cases when he may be in danger. ^\/^.
