Alright continuing with the moveset, just got some simple upward attacks going on here. The second one on the bottom is inspired by Magalors spike attack.
Press B while holding up
You will shoot a root right above yourself that has similar range to what whip has
Hold down, then quickly hold up and press B
You will quickly dig your roots into the ground and launch 2 root spikes to your left and your right
