Ethos may be a part ghost but still, part living. Not being fully dead makes him suffer from all the things we all have to go through with being alive. Like getting hungry, being sleepy, and even having dry lips. Sadly Ethos is suffering from dry lips from adventuring in the desert for too long so he bought some chapstick from someone in a black cloak.
