As a quarterly project in one of my classes, I'm going to be digitalizing one of my drawings to completion in Adobe Illustrator. I couldn't resist posting up what I had so far, so I whipped up a placeholder background and plopped the character art(The only part I had done) on top of it. The final product of the drawing I'm doing will have the actual background from the drawing and all the different elements in it. I'll be doing a Zeta version of sorts where I color the finalized line art in Photoshop, but the actual project will be colored in Illustrator, complete with gradient goodness!
I'm going to be doing the drawing titled Apolycolelipse Edge! I love that drawing so much because of the perspective and action and crap, and I've never wanted to touch it before. So why not test myself by seeing what I can do with it?
Thanks to Illustrator, this is my cleanest, least shaggy looking digital art thus far! It's slow going, but I'm finally coming along!
