I'm naming him Spinewave, and I'm pretty sure he's going to be my second scalesona.

Old Description 2023_08_10:

The main reason for making a second scalesona is to have a character for my normal talking voice, whereas Reptu has a cartoony dragon one.

Designing him was so fun! I first started out with a bunch of headshots of a pterodactyl and a t-rex. I seriously thought my second scalesona was going to be a pterodactyl, until I said "Hey, let's try a spinosaurus, since it's my favorite dinosaur. So I sketched about 15 different spinosaurus faces, and his appeared. And next, for the color scheme, I tried maybe 16 or so color schemes, and this was the best one. It's a neon triadic one.

So yeah, I now have two scalesonas.

The difference may be confusing, but I'll do my best to explain it.

Reptu is more of my escape scaleona, while Spinu is my more reality-driven one. I best put it as Reptu is in front of the stage while Spinu is in the back. For example, Reptu has his own universe and story where he lives in a futuristic anthro world in the year 2408 with all the other OCs and they hunt for treasure, whereas Spinu is just me in 2023, at my regular home, doing my usual art and routine. Thus, Spinu won't have any story-driven relationships with my other OCs. Also, if I were to ever draw myself at my desk working at my art, I would definitely use Spinu. Despite me using my normal voice for Spinu, and having him set in my ordinary reality, I'll still draw him with my other OCs, and pretend I'm a dinosaur. I just won't try to make it nearly as believable as Reptu, with the cartoony voice and all.
