Hah! Then you know all about pre season prep...I do not envy you.

Oh yes. Already tilled the small garden and half finished with the half acre. Putting in corn with pumpkins this year. Going to create a "Pumpkin Maze" for the kids to run through and hunt their Halloween pumpkin.

It's perfect! I get to harvest the corn and eat/sell the excess, (plus turning some into silage for my horse) then make some smiles and maybe some money on the pumpkins. If nobody comes, oh well. Pumpkins are like potatoes. They keep forever.

My uncle once set fire to the buckwheat bushes that invaded his backyard. Burnt it to the ground. Next year it was back double. Scary stuff.
