Vela is a Vilis, a weird iridescent + bio-luminescent jellyfish + clione-type of gastropod creature that tends to merge their shape into a fish-like form so they can move around faster.

Vela happens to be unique from her kin in that she's stolen her boyfriend, Unda's magic transformation wand and has EATEN IT, essentially turning HER into a walking magic wand that can zap-expand people at a mere touch or glance. Needless to say, she has fun with such a thing, and shapeshifts herself a good deal.

As demonstrated, one can expect good things from her and her magical ear-hands.
