So the process of getting the new fox studio up and running continues. I just got hooked up with a massive pair of JBL 3 way studio monitors so that my mixing will be a bit more accurate and I can run people with keyboards through a decent system for VST playing. Only $20 all said and done! I am having an issue at the moment finding the hard drive space to start new projects though. I need to clear a ton of hard drive space so I can use garage band again.
This is
markarian on the piano and tenor vocals and myself on baritone harmony with the guitar. We were both very drunk and very tired. This was the result of absinthe, white russians, good rum and some tequila rose.
This is all one track recorded on a I phone then imported into garage band for post production which consists of a bit of custom reverb settings, compression and some creative EQ.

HELLO DARKNESS MY OLD FRIEND. Sorry to say I'm one of those kids that don't know the artist/song but instead only know certain parts. I do believe the times I listen to your covers I just start to learn of the artist and then finally look up their music. And for that I thank you.
It's done very well.

To be honest when I was a kid I hated the hell out of licorice. I started eating and drinking things that were licorice made and or flavored when I started studying medical herbology and learned how wonderful it is for your voice and how many things it has been used to cure over the corse of human history. I very quikly learned to like it. Most american absinthe is pretty awful though so if that has been your only exposer I completely understand. The stuff we were drinking is french made. I had to get it brought to me by a friend that lives in the netherlands.
On the topic of the herbs, Artemisia absithium, which is normally the strain of wormwood used in making absinth has a pretty interesting flavor. If you ever happen to find some in a garden sometime try just breaking off a leaf or two and seeing what you think. The psychoactive effects of it are also rather interesting. Artemisia vulgaris (California mugwort) Is actually one of very favorite things to mix with pot or just smoke on its own. It has a very pleasant, creative feel to it. You should know though that it has been known to cause very vivid dreams and occasionally nightmares if you are prone to such things.
