Given the starship name that seems pretty close.

If you POKE a value into memory location 53281 on a Commodore 64 you change the screen's background color. The memory location refers to a register on the Commodore 64's VIC-II graphics chip.

I am actually surprised that you made a reference to the Commodore 64 in your design and not the Amiga-- you and your long association with the Amiga are pretty inseparable!

I want to say the registry is a date, because of the 81 at the end, but the 5 32 doesn't make sense to that effect since there aren't ever 32 days in a month... unless it's saying someone was 5 on March 2, 1981... and if so, it could only be the creator of the ship and crew.
That's my guess.

Being used to seeing the semi-battleships that everybody has in ST, on that scale this looks like an absolute tank of a warship. On the scale it's meant to be, it looks like a nice (and inexpensive) work-ship to be sent off when warp-capable runabouts just won't do.

I was going to ask if they even make warp cores that small, then I recalled that the Danube Class Runabouts have warp 5 cores. I'm sure the Sprite can't do much better than warp 7.

Nice! I've been a bit preoccupied with Star Trek lately, catching up on the new season of SNW. I'm thinking this would be useful as a CO's yacht for Starbases and larger ships, maybe?

Minor nitpick, the nacelle pylons need to be a bit thicker. From this perspective, it looks like they are about a foot (maybe two feet) thick. That seems like hardly enough space for the plasma feed to the Warp nacelles, doncha think? :P

You got me wondering, so I looked over the printed out views I made to figure out interior space. Looks like the pylons are a little under a meter (so about 2.5 feet) at their thickest point (the 'stripes' running down each winglet are thickened areas that house conduits 'n' stuff). I've been doing a lot of tweaks on the ship design over time, but I'm happy enough with that. Ya know, magic sci-fi materials and such.

Mkay, just so long as it works. Its hard to tell from this angle, and the ship may in fact be bigger than I thought :P
I was less concerned about the strength of materials, and more the amount of plasma that flows through the conduits to the comparatively bulky nacelles. Or maybe those puppies are all show, no kick lol
