Character

Tria Dalton is one of Sabrina Dalton's clones that emerged from her back half after drinking a magical potion. Her existence has been kept a secret for a long time, as on Terra, cloning was a forbidden practice, out of fear of creating yet another slave race. With the help of admiral Řykaja, she was smuggled off the planet. Since she shares almost all the memories of her "mother", she could pick up her profession as a doctor, and since Bifröst Station was still under the authority of the (then secretive) Terran Council, she was sent to serve on a Cetian ship before Terra's First Contact event took place, to hide her existence as far away from Terra as possible.

Upon her return to Bifröst station a decade later, she was still upset that she was still de-facto banished from the planet, but the admiral had reassigned her to one of the brand new Terran ships of the fleet, the Pioneer, as the ship's main surgeon. She managed to build up professional relationships with her crew members, but for a long time, she missed any true connections with someone. Being a taur with her back half missing, she always felt incomplete. She tried to create a new butt of her own, but somehow, the same magic that created her prevented her to create one. This was until she met the humble janitor Sumati. She volunteered to link up with her at her rump stump, and for the first time she felt whole again. From time to time she puts on Sumati's back side onto her back, and Sumati took over her half-taur form out of solidarity.

This one was an idea that  sabrina-taur and I worked out, given one of her main character's clones a place in the universe. She, and her partner Sumati were created around the same time by us.
