I was thinking about exploring and expanding upon the Eckhart headcanon that I've got going, and I decided that Eckhart will have an avatar that serves as an usher and attendant in the afterlife, namely Death. This is the character design I came up with after some brainstorming.
I really like how it came out, and it does retain a certain signature of Eckhart to it.
This kind of makes Eckhart a little more god-like than I originally intended them to be as a character, but it just makes more sense the more I play with it, so I'll let it be.
At the end of the day, it's calming to think that even at the end of your life, you find a friendly face on the other side, to guide you.
