I haven't been so inspired by anything in a long time. I didn't even expect it. I was so impressed with the fanfic that I drew an illustration of one of the moments. Because of the fact that the fanfic is in Russian, I translated a small below into English (I myself have to translate into my native language, Belarusian, to read, it's purely my principled position).

We sat with Lucien on the fortress wall and admired the world on the other side of the city. He was admiring it. I sat there, clinging to the wall with all my limbs, afraid to move. I'd be damned if I'd go up that high with him. Oh, yeah, we're mates, for crying out loud.

- The whole world is at arm's length," Lucien said as he strolled along the narrow rock face, smiling and almost dancing. - I wish I could go travelling.

- Yeah, yeah, sure!," I grumbled, trying not to look down. - Can we get down from here, huh?

-Misty, you okay, huh?? - He stretched out, sincerely not understanding my displeasure. - Look - what a beauty! From here you can see everything so well. I wish I could climb the Tower of White Gold," he sighed, glancing at the aforementioned one.

What a crazy...

- Yeah, yeah, that's nice, but I'm going to fall off," I whimpered.

God, I can't wait to get downstairs. How am I supposed to get down?

- Are you afraid of heights? - He looked at me in surprise.
