In the dark ages at a time, Shadow would wear this Wolf skull to fight the dires and their people for months. Its significance was a bad one in two ways. That particular skull was from a high ranked wolf that personally destroyed half his people without mercy. After Shadow had killed him, he would wear this skull and would do the same to the dires and their people for awhile until he met a certain nordic friend who would talk him down and collect that skull since it would cause more harm to the fox by just seeing it. That thing was a bad omen.

Tho, the skull does still exist somewhere far north.
