Greetings Everyone!
This is a commission my team and I have been working on for a few months now, the main artist who created it was
Tabia, someone who's helped me design some of the outfits of certain factions and characters.
(Tabia is much more active on FA than DA from what I can tell by the way).
She was of course assisted by my main artists:
Draggincat
Dolphiana (Henzy) (Trent-Rommel)
Things we delayed slightly be real life effects, but I think the end result turned out really great.
This image depicts a scene where a local Volterran gain tries (unsuccessfully) to extort a "toll" from Brack's group for exchanging salvage within their turf.
Before guns are drawn, the bar tender pulls a shotgun (and activates her defense turret) and demands that neither side is to use weapons or she'll start blasting. (That and whoever loses will be paying for the damage).
As you can see there's a lot of characters in the scene, but I think it goes a good job of showing everyone doing their thing while connecting to the previous concept arts well enough.
For those curious, this concept art is a direct after effect of these two in the same scene:

Anyway, we've got about 3 more concept arts after this one, all of which are nearing completion and should be ready to post in the next few weeks. I actually realized that we don't quite have the right web-size resolution on this one, and I'll have one of my artists help me with that and will update the posting a bit later once that's done. (So the resolution is going to be a bit off for the first day or two, but we'll fix it).
As I mentioned before, after the next 3 uploads, we're going to be quiet for a few months while we do necessary production work in the background. I'll make a journal entry when that happens, but it will probably last at least until January 2024. After that, we'll see if we can upload the occasional concept art while we're putting the visuals and audio together to prepare for a limited release date of around summer of 2024.
Time will tell.
As always, let me know what you guys think of the image, what can be used to improve future concept arts, and if there are any areas for possible improvement.
Thanks everyone! Hope you like the concept art!

Holy crap that's the move Xerina was demanding demonstrating with Arc back here!

She did the thing guys, SHE DID THE THING!
Also Brack kicking butt in sandals?! Impressive!
Arc looks like he's going for a trip.
Those Volterrans don't really know how to fight lol.
Pretty cool scene!

The funny thing is, I wasn't expecting the Tabia to use that particular pose again, though I did show it to her for reference. (Technically that scene is after this one, not before, ha ha)
A long time ago Brack used to be barefoot, but I thought it looked odd with him being the only one not wearing some kinda footwear so his design was eventually amended with the sandals.
Ha ha, a good play on words with Arc.
Typically they end up getting what they want without a fight, so it kinda caught them off guard; since they outnumber Brack's group almost 2 to 1 they were expecting the result to be easy.
So I suppose they got over confident, which is certainty a very Volterran thing to do.
Thanks for the comment by the way! Glad you liked the scene!
