Is not just existing patterns you can buy, that I like to do with embroidery, half of the fun is also to create my own ideas and patterns to try create something unique as gifts for people in my life.
Here's one of my more ambitious projects, ready to start art last! Spent a good week on putting the pattern together, getting feedback on it, correct errors and change parts based on better ideas and suggestions, with some editing of the finale pattern in photoshop.
Now I also finally required the colours I was missing for the idea, and I'm good to get started at last!
Gonna be a piece for my grandparents, who are celebrating their Crown Diamond Wedding Anniversary next month. So I made a pattern based on that, worked around the old phrase "Gammel Kærlighed ruster ikke" which is Danish for "Old love does not rust."
Which seems fitting for the occasion.
I am very excited to see how it turns out when finished!
