Was my thought too, Something about the line of not being a prisoner makes me think a hiri-kiri attempt is imminent since she can’t beat them 3v1 and probably on cool down from her abilities/possibly out of needles. main question is are they just gonna disarm her prior, or does she pull it off and just get instantly healed much to her chagrin/horror?
As you saw, only our little Draconian buddy knows Self Defence Nether the Husky nor the Bobcat seem disciplined enough to learn Advanced fighting styles, its Also unnecessary because they are Both virtually Indestructible, (fighting techniques are taught to people to prevent them being hurt or killed... ) in the service of their jobs
Well, there's the difference between having superpowers and not having them. If you have them, you can coast by using them until they either get taken away or you meet someone with either greater powers, greater skill in power usage, a counter for your powers, or a combination of those. Without powers, you have to rely on your skills, and those can be pushed even further if you manage to get some kind of power later, but you still have a level to fall back to if those prove useless.

But her statements and her ferocity in attempting to remain free lead me to believe that she's gone through a lot. And not the type that's lower case; I'm speaking of the kind that bold and full caps []bA LOT.[/b] Norbak's statements only lend credit to this, but due to her stubborness, she isn't able to have it easily turned against her
Perhaps I feel a sense of empathy with her that she feels too far gone, too much in pain, too damaged to try and heal that only death, by her hand or another, will finally offer that relief she's desperate to crave.
Which means that coming to Esperanza might be exactly what she needs.
