Yet another track that didn't make it onto my next record. This track actually had a spot on the original tracklisting, but was removed last minute. This track didn't fit well with the rest of the album's sound (even though the second track on it is a funk rock song). I am very proud of this song, however, I think the slap bass could be better. Eh, it was the best I could do while feeling sleepy at 3 in the morning. The title "Dysfunkshaun" is a little nod to my friend Shaun, who's bass I used to record this entire record (except for maybe like 5 tracks. Thanks Shaun!). My friend Ethan (who is an amazing guitar player) wanted to do a John Frusciante style solo over the bridge section, but none of the takes appealed to either of us, so we dropped the idea. Once again, this track has no vocals. Add some if you want to, I don't know. Very influenced by Red Hot Chili Peppers.
