Carmelita's leap of faith puts her on the other side of the wall of fire that Cerberus unleashed, negating one of the layers of defense he set up While the self-styled 'Guard Dog of Hell' wasn't expecting such bold action from the inspector, he recovers quickly enough to take further cover when Carmelita opens fire again. Determined to end the confrontation, she gives chase and rounds the corner, hoping to beat Cerberus to the draw.
But wait. what has Cerberus done...?
CREATOR'S NOTES:
Those who've been counting bullets may wonder if Carmelita's running out of shots by this point. The answer is...I don't know, either. In the promotional comic for Sly 3, Sly gets the drop on Carmelita by unloading her gun's bullets while she's sleeping, and I'm not sure if there was ever a full count of the shells on the floor. On the other hand, given her pistol's lightning bullets in the game, it could just as easily be some kind of high-tech blaster with a power cell instead of a clip.
Right now, I'm going with the idea that Carmelita's Shock Pistol fires "tazer bullets" that happen to be self-contained batteries. Each round carries a dart tip that lodges in the target, delivering the high-voltage shock. As for why Carmelita hasn't run out of shots yet, let's assume that she's been re-loading "off-panel."

5) The handgun Cerberus uses is a re-skin of Cassidy's revolver from his Undead Halloween skin, ported to Steam Workshop by Kemoi Alive. My further gratitude to Warfaremachine's Discord community, who helped me figure out HOW to properly edit the textures for this weapon. ( https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfi.....rchtext=McCree )
