It is my good friend Ittai's 21st birthday tomorrow, and I drew this for him. I'm actually kind of proud of how it came out!
His spirit animal is the lion, and he said he had always wanted a drawing of a lion with flower petals for a mane... I did a watercolor trial run with the idea(came out terribly) and decided to go with pen and markers- my comfort zone. The petals are based on the Sun's Eye Tulip, which is native to Israel where Ittai is from. I thought it was a nice touch.
We'll see what he thinks! This is one of my first times drawing a lion, so... be nice.
