Wonder what's got him so surprised?

Maybe he just saw all the thinly-veiled-fetish-scenario accessories in the laboratory? Which to try out first...?

I was meaning to actually play around with him as a test subject for various fetishes that sorta look fun to draw or I am mildly curious about, just to see how I feel about them, but never got around to any of that. A bizarre yet generic laboratory seems like the perfect environment to experiment with all sorts of things...

Thinly-veiled fetish scenarios!? Like........

Drinking a potion and turning into a Wererat or Ratdog?
Being shrunk and put in a maze?
Getting cloned and having 2 janitors in fun undies?

Interesting possibilities... I haven't forgotten about Rommel but I haven't really successfully drawn him engaging in anything yet.

My ideas for him were more based on some things I might have some interest in but am not sure about yet, like being stuck in a hazmat suit of some sort, or being subjected to hypnosis/mind control experiments (I know "stuck in a suit" and "hypnosis" can be combined in "drone" scenarios), for example. The whole "trapped in a suit" thing is something I'm curious about but sorta on the fence about, while hypnosis/mind control is something I have some interest in but don't draw all that often. I'm sure I can think of other things I've had some minor curiosity about over the years but never really had any excuse (or the courage) to try drawing.
I've noticed a surprising amount of interest in my one old one-off drawing of Bradley holding his own brain in a jar so maybe at some point something with brain extraction or swapping minds/brains could work too, and people also seem to like scenarios where a character is kept in some sort of sci-fi medical tank/tube so maybe Rommel can experience what it's like to be a pickle sometime!

A laboratory setting just offers a lot of opportunities for random experimentation even with things I don't really care for but might be willing to try a heavily cartoon version of--dabbling in "vore" with some sort of oversized mutated carnivorous plant comes to mind...
Overall, he'd just get abused in a variety of cartoonish ways that may or may not be thinly-veiled fetish scenarios, using the "evil lab" setting as an easy justification for whatever I want to subject him to. Inject him with, or stick a hose in his mouth and pump him full of all sorts of sinister glowing neon Science Serums and see what happens.

Of course, general bondage scenarios would work too, he'd probably wind up strapped down to a gurney or operating table, kept in a cage between experiments, or stuck in a straitjacket and locked in a cell when the experimentation finally drives him mad.

The one rough sketch I have, and really should finish sometime, actually explores the idea that all the experimentation on him would drive him to madness, and he'd have a villain arc, his villain outfit being a tight full-body suit with a harness and stuff (but his head exposed so we can see the madness in his eyes and his overdramatic villainous expressions and long flowing hair, or course), the various experiments he's been subjected to granting him weird superpowers that have yet to be determined... but he'd probably be more of a comedic villain than anything, maybe even falling victim to his own evil gadgets and experiments at times--imagine somehow getting an actual secret agent or hero in a situation where he could use some sort of hypnovisor on them to get them to spill all sorts of valuable secrets, only to wind up tripping and sticking his own face into it, and confessing his own weird kinky desires and embarrassing secrets and his credit card number!
