Greenmoore verse

A long time ago when the earth was going through a bronze age, When many gods chose to nest on earth and spread their control and power. There was one god, one that was once known as the god of chaotic inspiration. Who some would described to be the spectrum of the cosmos. Yet it was still adolescence god. after a incident that at the time seemed big by all the old ones, now some of which of the admitted was petty. Though none would admit it. had imprisoned this god to the earth, stripped of his celestial body and powers. He was forced into a human body, left on the earth as an immortal being. As well as being unable to speak any language at first.

Nowadays He he took what he use to see as a curse and now made that a problem to any gods who tried to develop a great worship on earth. becoming powerful over the years by trading his godly knowledge and secrets, for tools and new found abilities. Even creating a network of friends and followers that cause great wars on the gods that doesn't agree with him. For those that do follow his rules over earth, he leaves them alone.

(Which most had grown into the major religions that we know today.)

Now with his immortal familiar and network of skilled, powerful, intelligent people. Even with some lesser or forgotten gods who sides with him. They defend the earth of any outer influences that the former god deems not worthy to nest on the planet.
