My new OC for a Blind Palace campaign, Dr. Amadeus Amberlecht, a pact of the blade warlock and probably a Dr. Jekyll expy with some Faust and daddy issues sprinkled in for good measure.
The hands are his patron's and he has little to no control of them.

thematically can i just say??? the Hands Aesthetic of his patron hits even better when you realise he's been manipulated (emotionally) for most of his life by his family. and then manipulated (emotionally AND pact-boundly AND physically) by his patron.
not to get blorbo brain for your guy, but the way this guy's life has been perpetually out of his hands and always in someone else's? LOVE THAT. not for him. tragic for him. but THEMATICALLY-

he is SO blorbo brainworthy, is the thing! i can see why he's doin' it to you!!! (ALSO PAINFULLY RELATABLE. same boat with me and my dear sweet botanist wizard, being in blorbos with YOUR OWN GUY is a curse!!!)
no for real, i think that's one of the things that is so compelling about Tragic Warlocks is that's so often the case, and the themes of autonomy and the loss thereof and the struggle for? never stops being delicious no matter what flavour. put that man through the wringer, lmao!! no matter where his adventures take him, whether it Gets Better or Gets Worse or both, i bet he's got an interesting story ahead of him :D
