💡"Coach" is played by Luke, the porcupine. (Used with permission.)👈🤓
💡Eydie the (winged - not shown) rabbit is played by herself. (Used with permission.)👈🤓
🥕Military-grade health-care.
🥕"Slut!" is Swedish for "end". Am I using it grammatically correctly? Maybe not?! 🤷 But (if and when I manage to get more comics made) it will be a running gag. I... think I got it from Pewdiepie...? But I don't actually remember.
So what actually happened here?
I, having roleplayed a rabbit for some years now, noticed/learned some things, and wanted to write a thing incorporating them.
🥕Rabbits can fight!
🥕I bet an anthropomorphic rabbit would have pretty good balance.
🥕I bet an anthropomorphic rabbit who's interested in performing arts would probably take a gymnastics class, to add to their skill-set.
🥕I bet gymnasts could be pretty good in a fight, considering they know how to... do all kinds of maneuvers that I don't personally know how to do.
🥕Turns out gym-kata is actually a thing! A movie, even, with that title.
🥕Pommel-horse was a visual pun, that I thought was clever.
And the plot...? Is a little bit of a mystery/up-to-your-imagination kind of thing. Maybe Cecilia just imagined the fight. Maybe the fight really happened, in the past, and Cecilia was remembering/imagining it, while working on her gymnastics routine. Maybe she astrally-projected and beat up some street thugs during gym class, and then took their cash and jacket while sitting on the bench?!
The last one is a really fun idea, and the original show did have episodes where characters stepped out of their own reality, but - Cecilia is really mundane, with only very limited and very specific magic, having to do with very specific shape-shifting. She doesn't really have "powers", per. se. So... the most likely scenario is either the first or second explanation, and being a pop-culture-reference and meme-dropping kind of girl, with an active imagination, and penchant for dramatic performance, likely narrated the story in her head like it was an episode of a sci-fi fantasy show.
Regardless, I hope everybody else enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed seeing it brought to life! 😃
