so after two days work in both Sai and Gimp, I have officially made a mod of my fursona in SL. from that angle the tail is kinda fail, but its multi-prim so sometimes the colors overlap instead of sitting properly when the tail moves ^^

Note: excepting the ear texture, the mod was based on the DSD cheetah skin and prim textures provided to me by  oken when i asked. I'm only using them to make my own mod and not for profit, which is perfectly fine according to Oken's F.A.Q. regarding DSD avatars ^^

the avatar itself is the Dark Spot Designs Cheetah, king variety. The ears are the Cabbit ears sold by . The hair is from Calico Creations, and the outfit is from ::Beautiful Dirty Rich::. Calico and BDR are both SL only as far as i know.

The skin and prim textures for the cheetah were templated using textures from Oken and recolored by me. The ears are custom textured by me.
Backdrop is Husky Isle in SL.
