Bestest friends. Micheal always sticks up for Stacey when she gets into trouble (a lot). So very kind and love each other to bits. Stacey looks up to him as the best brother ever. Micheal is often severely punished by his father, though he is so good. His father abuses their mother too but Micheal protects Stacey.

Micheal hits that inevitable stage that every boy does. Because of his history with his father (who since left) he's into some pretty odd stuff. ie: BDSM. Sadly, he experiments on his ever doting sister. He becomes more and more cruel to her in general, but she still loves him for what he was - even though he causes her horrible pain.

Micheal has gotten him and Stacey matching tattoos on their thighs, against Stacey's will but of course she didn't object. "He only means well". He still abuses her on a regular basis and has become greedy, vain and cold. Stacey is in love with someone else, but she denies herself. She sees it as cheating on her brother, she hurts herself for it. Stacey puts on a fake face at school - she doesn't tell anyone about her life and seems like a normal girl, who gets into trouble (a lot).

Micheal takes the abuse too far one night, slicing open Stacey's abdomen. He panics, calling an ambulance and telling them she tried to commit suicide. He can't handle the guilt and stress of her howling in agony, and runs away with nothing but the clothes on his back. He can't think of anything other than getting as far away as possible. He hitch-hikes until he is lost, and collapses into a street in the middle of nowhere. Stacey tells the emergency crew that she indeed, tried to kill herself. She is put into therapy, where she manipulates people's thoughts with the same false personality she used through school. She is let out shortly, under the lie that she acted the way she did because of alcohol. She pines for Micheal immensely, and is a mere shadow of being that slips around in silence.

Micheal met a successful architect named Grace in the town he ended up in. He still carries the immense burden of what he did to Stacey, and doesn't know anything about what happened to her. He disguises an extremely damaged, fragile core with a blanket of modest smiles and his love for Grace. He has extreme difficulty sleeping at night because he can't stop thinking of Stacey, and has extreme fatigue, and narcolepsy. He often emotionally tortures himself over what Stacey could have been if he hadn't hurt her, or weather she was even alive. He covers his tattoo at all time possible.
Stacey is a dramatic, outgoing person, though she is very stubborn and often rude to people around her. She has had, and been fired from, a few jobs, but is holding down a spot in a body-modification salon quite nicely. She's gotten many mods herself, but Micheal's mark remains her only tattoo, a sacred proof of his existence along with the long scar on her stomach. She's generally very positive and cheerful, even though there is often a dark flash to that. She is very much into BDSM, and is a bit of a rough-player in society, this gets her into trouble (a lot). She fully embraces the disturbing acts that were put onto her through her teens, and sees it now as 'her personality blooming to its full potential'. She always wonders what happened to Micheal, and wants to find him so that she can continue loving him.

Now Stacey has finally tracked Micheal down, and is causing complete havoc in his life. Her sudden appearance is not only confusing his emotions, but it's stirring up old traits and feelings which he thought he'd finally stamped out for good. He is engaged to Grace, and still hopes to cling to her as his last shred of sanity, but Stacey wants to unravel him in a chaotic hurtle through memory lane. She often tries to take advantage of Micheal's narcolepsy, and he is finding himself falling down a black hole of negative emotion, clawing at the sides as he goes.

Stacey was born with a mental disorder that makes her extremely clingy to anyone she gets emotionally close to. Same as the first story until 12-14, and other stuff. He runs away to try find his own way in life, but she finds him and this sucks because she's all skanky at him in front of his wife-to-be, Grace. Yeah, so he's all like -facepalm-
