After leaving Avdrakan’aur (crude translation "Home of Dragons") Reeva arrived to Haat'Tar sanctuary world, Haat.
At some point of history one of the five continents on Haat was lifted into space by godly powers and transformed, gaining its own atmosphere, gravity force and artificial molten core. In it's place a hollow sea remained. This continent is now called "Sanctuary shard", a seat of godly power in mortal realm. Avatar of Elion, God of Light and Creation sits upon the throne in Great Palace constructed in the centre of "Sanctuary shard". Before Reeva's arrival, two Celestial Dragons, created by Elion to represent Haat's Sun and Twin Moons, was guarding the Palace. With Elion's greater self resided in higher planes of existence, mere manifestation of Elion's will, an Avatar was enough to keep Haat safe.
Was enough to keep Haat safe... before Reeva shown up, clearly angry for cleansing of Avdrakan’aur by "Storm that Never-was". Reeva confronted and incapacitated Luna and Sol, two Celestial Dragons tasked guarding the palace. Much less powerful Celestial Drakes and Angelic Sentinels were unable to prevent Reeva breaching into the Palace and entering the Throne Room. "Small Conflict" in the Throne Room resulted in Avatar's destruction, Reeva got injured in the process, notably losing one of her eyes, unfortunately for her it was "gift" of demonic origin, old thing form her past, unreplaceable by normal means. Elion's greater self arrived to the Throne Room to investigate Avatar's demise. God of Light and Creation successfully secured both Avatar's Power Core and his Throne, leaving Reeva cornered and clearly overpowered. Yet, Reeva wasn't evil at heart, despite her Tyrant's past and Elion seen potential in her. Truce was proclaimed, Reeva allowed to stay in Haat and keep her Celestial status. In exchange she needed to protect the realm and share duty with other Celestial Dragons. New Avatar was created, and Reeva found a way to replace the eye, receiving green one, by contacting and dealing with Venaki species, notably their clan named "Frost", clan of Cold. After some time maintaining the balance, Reeva got her Personal Tower on "Sanctuary shard's" surface, in good place, with view of Elion's Palace and city around it, not obstructed by mountains.
Once in few decades Elion's greater self were busy in higher planes. With Reeva around, she got new role for that occasion. As Elion were "Departing", he was taking the Avatar with him. Leaving Reeva and her Custodian in Throne Room. Unfortunately for Reeva she wasn't assigned to the Throne, but instead got huge soft pillow to accommodate her until Elion's return. And so bored Celestial Dragon of Storm were spending her days and sometimes a month, being cuffed by divine shackles and confined to the Throne Room. Each time new custodian was chosen, from newly ascended Celestial Drakes, main reasons for selecting candidate was following the rules by the book and not having any favours or debts to Reeva. Shold any crisis happens, Custodian got instructions to remove divine shackles and was commanded to allow Reeva to synchronize with the Throne.
Portrait created to mark first such synchronization. Eldritch Star Devouring Entity was detected, threat deemed worthy to allow Reeva rule once more. Reeva took residual godly energy from the Throne, becoming temporary Demigoddess and wreath on her head symbolize her authority as Regent, ruler of Haat and "Sanctuary shard" in Elion's absence. Notably as Demigoddess and Regent, she gets both power and authority to commence resurrection or apply "Golden Lightning of Alteration". Yet her Demigoddess powers were limited and temporary. No matter how successful she manages the crisis, with Elion back in the realm, godhood needs to be revoked and power returned to the throne.
