Background: As a child, Etain was brought up to believe in the ideals of the Galactic Alliance and all they stand for. Upon her 18th birthday, Etain left her homeworld of Galidraan and enlisted in the Galactic Alliance Naval Academy. She showed acceptional skills at boarding/anti-boarding combat and upon graduation, was assigned to the security forces aboard the Tri-Scythe-class frigate, Glory of the Alliance. During the Battle of Caamas, Etain proved her worth by repelling a Imperial boarding party in which Lt. Galan Marko, then acting Chief of Security was fatally wounded. With his dying breath, Galan promoted Etain to his soon to be vacant position.
