Love Coronado Heights. Haven't been there in... well, a really long time. Been wanting to get back and shoot a bit up there.

The road up is even worst than I recalled from last time. Add in my being terrified by heights and ther trip there and back was sheer delight...

The last time I went, our van got stuck deep in the muddy road. Dad walked towards a farmhouse (probably a good mile across the fields) and flagged down a tractor who came over and pulled the van out. While all that was going on, we (the scouts) were scaling the Heights and getting a fire going to cook lunch. Was a very cold, very wet day in Feb or early March, as I recall, and we cooked up a big pot of soup. Gave some to a guy and his girlfriend who were also up there.

went there as a child, field trip. We found a rattlesnake in the toilet, ^w^
